You get the feeling you're on another planet. We didn't know about the boat ride, we just walked on the beach and it was amazing. I think little tiny kids would be bored but teenagers I think (I would hope) would think it's cool...they've never seen anything like it. Make sure you bring a camera.
Meg and Little Foot took our family on a wonderful Sunset Cruise. Meg is a wealth of knowledge and provided lots of great information as we glided along. We saw plenty of dolphins and took great pictures of the sunset. Will definiltely do this again next time we visit Eidsto Beach.
Meg knows the land and waterways inside and out, as a professional biologist, and brings history, knowledge, passion and humor to every tour. I've been on the "same" tour four different times and each time was a completely different experience. When children are on the tour, she draws each one out so that it's a huge adventure for them. These...

This is a FREE place to really have a great day and see a beautiful, secluded, and untouched place! You drive down a dirt road through heavy forest, then are taken to a parking lot, where you take a half mile walk down to uncharted territory. You are likely to have very few other tourists there. The seashells are not...

Meg was our tour guide for a 2 hour dolphin tour. She was a wonderful guide and pointed out interesting points without talking constantly. That allowed us to sit back and enjoy the scenery without trying to keep up with a canned speech. We loved it and highly recommend the tour to anyone!
Our family has returned to experience Botany Bay Ecotours for the past two years. We have kayaked, taken the sunset boat ride and another boat ride as well. We were notified when bad weather threatened and the ride was rescheduled. This company is responsible and knows that being out on the water with threatening conditions is dangerous. Young children through...

We, a group of 6, scheduled one of Meg's "Sunset Cruise" tours. She never showed up. The tour, which was scheduled for 6:30, never happened. We were there, the weather was beautiful, wine was purchased but no Meg. Called her at 6:45 and a supposed employee answered and tried to tell us they had called and left a message that...

We went on this tour with a total of five adults and one infant. 80% of the adults were 50+. We opted not to kayak. We were taken on an informative and enjoyable 100 min cruise along the salt creeks around Edisto Island. We saw Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, Green Herons, black crowned night herons, marsh wrens, brown pelicans, gulls,...

One of the best tours I've ever attended. I've lived in the coastal region my entire life, yet I'd never noticed half of the things Meg pointed out on our trip. It was easy to find the marina, and the parking area was adjacent and free. Meg has an easy, conversational style that kept us all laughing yet learning the...
