Nature calls to this moss draped adventure! Surprised by the information and the artifacts in this small museum of findings of digs dating back 12,000 years! Also many informational posters, and interactive information about the local island. Edisto is a one of kind sancturay and is protected unbelievable well and still have so many people with homes, and vacation rentals.... More

Beautiful clean beach. You can walk a long ways picking shells. It has a nice parking area but you have to pay per person. With nice picnic areas and a quaint little village nearby. I really thought it was beautiful and we had a great time walking along the beach.

We camped at Edisto Beach State Park in April 2013 and found it to be just OK. The beach is very nice and a short walk from the beach campground. However, the campground does not live up to most states' standards for their state parks. The roads in the campground are all dirt and in poor condition with many potholes... More

I enjoyed having a picnic at the picnic tables on lawn, just feet away from the beach. Clean bathrooms, plenty of picnic tables, big trees and palm trees, nice beach. Lots of nice campsites( reserve in advance)

The state park is right on the beach at Edisto Island. Parking on the island is pretty restricted so sometimes parking at the park is necessary to visit the beach if you don't want to hike it. There are nice picnic tables and charcoal grills in the shade.

We stopped by Edisto Beach while driving from Beaufort to Charleston. The drive out was nice with little to no traffic encountered on our way. We only stayed long enough to take a couple of photos from the beach. The area was nice and the beach was clean.

After reading this review if you found it helpful please rate it as such. Thanks. If you love the look of Spanish Moss hanging from beautiful Live Oaks, you will be enchanted as you drive to the park. Located about 50 miles south of Charleston this park offers two very different camping experiences. You can camp under the oaks or... More

This is a nice enough campground, beach is nice, we had a decent time. I would recommend if RV camping like us stay away from the tent camp sites. Try and get a site near the playground or first sites you pass when coming in, much less noise and peaceful. This place is noisy, no one enforces the quiet time... More
