This place hops when it is raining outside, and where else can you go on this island, think about it, there is no place to swim indoors unless you are staying at the Westin Hotel, so this museum started and we were happy to take her there, she loved the trains the best, and second was the the inter active... Busy little place on rainy days during high season. I might suggest going on a nicer day to beat the crowds and I strongly suggest leaving one parent home and saving six bucks, too many adults clogging up the place. Otherwise it is a nice play area for younger kids. Good variety of things to do in a cozy clean... More

My 2yr old an 6yr old spent 4 hrs here today. They did not want to leave!! There were so many things for them to do. I was impressed and found myself enjoying playing pretend with them too. Best money spent so far while in HH!!

Our kids LOVED this place. Great indoor activity for the not so pretty days outside. We came here on the Operation R&R Program and some of the days were a little rainy, so we took our girls here to play. But we have reservations for dinner and had to go to get changed. The only thing we would've changed would've... More

Brought the little kids 4 and 2 over. They enjoyed painting and arts and crafts. Had to pay for the kids and each adult. Our 10 year was too old. Would recommend for small children if you need an activity for a hour or so.

We went to Sandbox today with our 4 yo and 1 yo. Nothing special. I don't know why it's called museum. It looks more like a play place. Rather small. And not very clean. I don't know if we would go there again. Also, it's weird that the adults have to pay the admission price also. Good if your child would... More

We celebrated my son's 2nd birthday here. It was great! All of the kids had a blast. There was a lot for them to do and they did not get bored.

There is not much indoor activities for young ones to do here in the lowcountry and this place is on the small side but was LOVELY! We spent the afternoon here with my son (5) and niece (4). They loved dressing up as pirates climbing on the ship, pretending to be fly an airplane, and having a tea party while... More
