Want to avoid the drive to Savannah? Try a day cruise via the Spirit of Habor Town. An hour and a half cruise to Savannah, you are dropped off at the dock at River Road (lots of shops and restaurants and near the Market) and 4 hours later you get to ride back to Hilton Head Island. Fun day.
