We just returned from a week long visit and couldn't have asked for more perfect weather! It was very beautiful, all of Murrell's Inlet is like a mini vacation spot. You just can't go wrong. Make sure to visit Drunken Jacks to see the peacocks on the small inlet.

While in Myrtle Beach, my husband and I drove by the Murrells Inlet area. We saw the walkway with a few restaurants along the way. Some shops seemed to be located in the hotels along the walk. It was rainy when we visited, but I imagine it's a nice walk on a nice day.

... on the pier and spectacular view of the wildlife in the SC marsh. It was a way to take a walk through nature while being close to the shore. Worth every step. Free parking. There's also plenty to do for the kids to keep them occupied. Lots of restaurants to choose from and accessible by car or bike. It... More

A serene little walk through the marsh lands. It is a quiet and peaceful little stroll. It allows you to take in natures sights, sounds and fragrance. Opens all your senses if you are a nature lover. A great little walk with kids too. They can enjoy all the birds and creatures that scurry about. Check it out if you're... More

This is a great area day & night . Great dining lunch & dinner , night life and shopping . The lazygator shop is a nice shop, but I do have to say that the gals that were working there were not too friendly and they acted like we were disturbing them when we asked for assistance with questions regarding... The Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk is a boardwalk the connects the rear of several restaurants along the marsh on Hwy 17 B. All of the restaurants are good choices from what we understand. During our vacation we ate at two of them- Drunken Jack's and Dead Dog Saloon. Both were excellent. Prices at the restaurants on the Marsh Walk were... More

Most people visit Marsh Walk for the restaurants, but we prefer early morning before the eateries open and the crowds arrive. Walk behind the restaurants to stroll along the elevated, wooden boardwalk hugging the inlet. On a clear, quiet February morning, we watched peacocks feeding in the marsh, ducks swimming in the inlet, and fishermen cleaning their boats. This is... More
