If you're into seeing sharks up close, you have to check out this aquarium. Tip: Go an hour and a half before closing, we had the entire place to ourselves!

I won a free ticket on Facebook for Ripley's Aquarium, so we added it to our vacation must-do list this year. This was my son's first trip to an aquarium and he was amazed at being so close to the sharks and discovering such colorful fish. My daughter loved the seahorses and sea dragon and we all loved walking through...

We stopped off at the aquarium when we were exploring the Broadway at the Beach area, for $29.99 we got to pick 2 of the Ripley's attractions to explore and this one looked the coolest. Inside you will find several different presentations from divers to mermaids which were entertaining. There is also a spot to pick up and touch some...

It was just a standard aquarium, but other aquariums are better because of size and the variety of exhibits. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, but we walked through the entire aquarium in an hour, so it didn't live up to the price. They have more attractions aimed for kids, so families would have a better time.
Ripley's is unique in that the shark tank is over your head and you can get a birds eye view. You also can touch and pick up the hermit crabs and pet a stingray. However, it is pretty expensive for the amount you get to see. The one at VA Beach gives you more to see for your money.
The aquarium is set up for kids. so keep that in mind. With that said... as adults we had a good time. The overhead shark tank is awesome. Only took about 2.5 hours as adults to go through everything. had a good time will go back.
We're very glad we visited the aquarium...the conveyer belt through the tanks was fantastic! It was also very cool getting the opportunity to touch stingrays, sharks, and crabs. Aside from that, there wasn't a lot of activities or exhibits that we were interested in. It was actually a small place, and cost about $60 for the three of us. However,...

We went to the Ripley's Aquarium for something to do on a day when the weather wasn't so good. For 2 adults and one child we spent $59 with a coupon. The main attraction in the aquarium is a large ocean display with the moving walkway where the tank is like a tunnel that you go through and the fish,...

I've been here several times with my kids. Every time it's an enjoyable experience. So many kinds of sea life to see. It never gets old. Great atmosphere. I definitely recommend paying the extra for the stingray experience, but check into booking it in advance as it may fill up.,My girls loved it!
We visited here for the first time in Dec 2011 and I had posted a favorable review on TripAdvisor. This was our second trip but we won't be going back again...it was just boring.
Nothing much had changed since our last trip a year and a half ago. The aquarium tunnel was still pretty cool, as were the other fish...
