My husband and I stopped in...knowing that we were going to purchase a few bottles of wine. Enjoyed the wine tasting, mostly because the bartender listened to what I like...but, the bartender did attempt to sell us more wines than we really wanted. My husband said that he would not go back...and I sort of share his opinion.

We enjoyed our visit to Naked Winery. Not great wine, but a lot of fun. Deserted when we walked in, others followed and we soon had a small group at the bar having fun with our hostess. A good time, especially since we didn't have much else to do.

I'm commenting on the naked winery in custer, not hill city just to be clear. The wine selection is pretty good and I enjoyed my tease Riesling. We went here and to Prairie Berry down the road. As the other reviewers stated this is NOT local wine. They have neat names but the wine is brought in. No FREE samples. Prairie Berry IS FREE for your 5 samples!!

actually went to the "naked winery" in custer, SD, but it didn't come up on tripadvisor. anyway, the folks there were very friendly, and normally i probably wouldn't have gone in to check it out, but the name of the place got my attention, and i ended up buying a bottle of Rhubarb wine.
