We obtained triple tickets for Lookout Mountain, Rose Falls and Rock City. Whilst we ran out of time for Rock City, we managed the other two and were blown away by the natural beauty and breathtaking views. The curvy mountain roads make me nervous and the ear-popping is slightly annoying, but is is all worth it to visit this beautiful scenery. We purchased combo tickets and visited Ruby Falls, Rock CIty, and rode the Incline. My daughters ages 15 and 7 were both entertained by all three activites. It was a great family experience!
loved the railway car up there, the views from the top, the civil war site...just about everything. Do it!
Visited for one day in June 2013 traveling from Florida back home to Illinois. Absolutely amazing views & scenery. Had a wonderful time walking the trail and being at the top to see seven states and feel above the clouds. Highly recommend to visit. Had a great time.
If you have not been here, do so. The view is far more than spectacular. We spent several hours and really did not want to leave.
If you take the incline train its a ok ride (but not for $15 bucks) Make sure you go to visitors bureau and pick up coupons before you see anything. The visitors bureau in the center of city gives you a token to park in garage for free. Drive to the top and work your way down.
The Steep rail car to the top was fun, interesting gift shop, Civil war history and park area worth a look as very informative.

For $3. each, we had wonderful views from Point Park. Took the included guided tour and learned about the site and it's importance in the Civil War. Saved...
