We were so excited to go on the incline railway but quickly found it to be disappointing. First, the cost is really high for what you are getting. We had to wait in line for over 40 minutes in the high heat to even get on the railway. Once on it takes you up to the top where there is... More

The views are great, but the car itself needs some refurbishing and water-proofing. Their were towels on several seats and watermarks on some of the chairs from where it had rained and leaked in. The tickets were way over priced as well. We bought the combo for Rock City, Ruby Falls, and the Incline. Ruby Falls was by far the... More

This is a great little trip. The view is wonderful especially if you sit in the back where you can look up through the glass ceiling. It also has some great history. We totally enjoyed it.

We rode the Incline Railway on Memorial Day weekend. The view is great, but the ride is not so impressive. We had to wait an hour to board going down, another hour to board to go back up. To long of a wait for so little. If you want a view, go to Point Park. In my opinion the Incline... More

If you want to enjoy an amazing view as you are pulled backwards up the mountain, then by all means take this ride. But honestly, tickets are a little over-priced for a destination you can get to by car in about the same amount of time. Two Adults, Two Children - Almost $60. The view at the top is definitely... Steepness was entertaining to the kids. Walked down to Point Park at the top for $3 admission fee. Lovely park, used during Civil War, amazing views. Kids enjoyed running around the monument and "hiking". Lines were 1 hour long during Memorial Day weekend - might arrange to go early or late to avoid this.

it is neat for all ages, not for the faint of heart as you go backwards. Nice scenic view. Prices a little high.

Been by this attraction a dozen times but didn't take the time to experience it, BUT, that was a mistake. It was exhilerating going up the side of the mountain and seeing the entire valley grow below. When on top you can walk a few blocks and experience unbelievable views and civil war history. Also, while on top make sure... More

We caught the train at the bottom of the ride at St. Elmo's Station. Sign posted a two-hour wait but it did not seem that long. There was a live band playing that made the wait tolerable. Riding the train backwards up the hill added to the thrill and the incredible view. There are gift shops at the top and... More
