Made a last minute reservation for my husband and myself for a city tour with Ginny. Wasn't sure what to expect but was beyond pleased at the end of our tour. Ginny was an excellent guide who is passionate about Chattanooga history. We learned so many interesting facts and stories about the city. She made our time so fun and... More

History really came alive for me when I took the Dynamo of Dixie Tour. Ginnie, my guide, was an engaging storyteller with many interesting facts and stories about this marvelous city. I leaned how the railroad, the Cherokee, and the river played important parts in Chattanooga's developement. Ginnie,,also, gave me excellent dinner suggestions. I am only sorry that I didn't... More

When we visited Chattanooga in August of 2012, we decided to sign up for a walking tour. I'm so glad we did! We took the Dynamo of Dixie tour and Ginnie was our guide. The tour is about an hour long. Ginnie was fantastic and really made history come alive. Even our 10 year old son loved it. We enjoyed... More

This leisurely walking tour was intimate and entertaining. Not only did we see some breathtaking sights in the scenic city, we learned a lot too!! Our guide (Carlton) was knowledgeable and quite entertaining. The best part, instead of zooming by the many venues, we got to take our time, see the details, smell the delicious aromas from the many restaurants,... More

We had a very personal tour from Ginnie who was an excellent tour guide, very professional and very knowledgable. We were shown all the interesting sites of Chattanooga at a pace which suited us. Ginnie listened to all our questions and really took time to explain things. We would definitely recommend new visitors going on this tour as soon as... More

I wish we had been able to take the tour early in our visit. We learned a great deal about the history of Chattanooga in a short period of time, only to leave right after the tour for our next destination. Carlton was fabulous.

I took my mother on the Dynamo of Dixie tour for an early birthday present. She's lived in town for almost 30 years and I spent my entire adolescence in Chattanooga, but we loved it! And we learned so much about the city that we didn't even know we didn't know. From the architecture to the history, Carlton filled us... More

Another great tour of the historical bridges and bluffs of the City. This tour also offers a great view of the North Shore. What a great way to spend an afternoon walking and talking with such a knowledgable tour guide. A truly great experience.

This time we did the bridges and bluffs tour. What a wonderful way to see the history of the city of Chattanooga come alive! Take the time to listen to people who really know their city and can share the city. See it all from the bridges to the North Shore to the sculpture garden. You will not be disappointed!

Carleton is a top notch tour guide and a true southern gentleman. You will not be disappointed. We did not want the tour to end!! Well worth the $15 for the nearly 2hrs of history we learned.
