This is a great park near downtown. We come here whenever we visit Chattanooga. Our kids really love the carousel with large hand carved animals. Its indoors and available all year. There are many nearby restaurants, ice cream, coffee, etc. Very relaxing atmosphere. Check out the river street deli and, in the summer, play in the slash pad featuring zoo...

Coolidge park is a great little spot in downtown Chattanooga. There are a bunch of tasty restaurants around (river street deli is a great place)
We love this park and we have to stop by everytime we are in the area. We had a nice picnic by the river which was very nice.
great place to run around and get kids tired! Fountains, carousel, even a climbing wall! Great riverfront location, views, bridges, Delta Queen...awesome.
Indoor carousel. Water "geysers" for children to run in and out of. Nice way to spend a family day without spending money. Pack a lunch and blanket and enjoy the family and outdoors.
water is fun for kids, carousel is wonderful for all ages, the hand carved horses are awesome to see.
Our granddaughter had a wonderful time playing in the fountain while we had comfortable seating nearby. We disliked having to feed the meter. There is a carousel but the water was more attractive to the grandchild.
Park was well laid out, was very clean, was large with large grassy areas and lots of trees and walking trails.
The water feature is great during summer months, so the kids can play. The carousel is beautiful & fun year round. Named for local Medal of Honor recipient. Across the river from the aquarium.
