This 10 mile long park is mostly by the river, but there are areas where it curves into some industrial locations. Basically it's a nice wide paved path set up for people to walk or bike. Along the way, there are several playgrounds, various types of "parks", and sculptures sprinkled along the sides. The playgrounds had themes (bees for example),... More

We walked it for over an hour. Lots of paved walking trails and playgrounds. Very clean and family friendly.

Enjoyed the quiet walk. Easy access to both the park and the nearby restaurants and shops. Liked the cleanliness.

There are free shuttles to take you all over downtown Chattanooga, we took it over the bridge to the arts district (not nearly as cool as Little 5 in Atlanta)..and then we walked back over the bridge, beautiful views and very easy walk, I was in wedge boots..

This is a great place to walk! Plenty of local restaurants to visit. We had dinner at good dog and dessert at the ice cream show. I don't think the walking offset the calories, but i don't care

This are of downtown is a great place to take a walk. There are lots of things to see in this area, as well as lots of places to eat. You have to pay to park (either in a lot or at a metered space), but simply a beautiful place.
