This is a nice small town with plenty of good restaurants. Worth the trip and while you are there make the extra 10 min drive to Leiper's Fork. If is a smaller town with a focus on the art community.

This town is full of a variety. There are shops and restaurants, old and new, historic sites and cupcake stores (foodchannel). Don't miss the McPhail Clife office, a.k.a. The Honey Hut, ca 1815. Get a walking tour map.
Lovely little town to wander with interesting shops and pleasant cafes. Park and walk. Enjoy the historical architecture.
We love going downtown! The shops have unusual, crafty, and handmade in Tennessee items. If you have that hard to buy for person on your list you are sure to find something for them. Also there is lots of good food and live entertainment in downtown. Also a great place for an afternoon stroll!
Nice little shops and quaint restaurants. We always visit downtown Franklin when we visit TN. Pucketts and Meridees both nice places to eat
Really nice downtown experience it a small town. As a guy most of the shops were not of interest to me. Plenty of places to eat or find a treat ! Many if not most of the shops close at 5pm and are not open on Sunday.
Shoppes every where and close to medical center, thats the reasons we where their! I would like too thank, Anson Anderson and Dave Staples for being so nice, and answerd every ? we had!
Love downtown Franklin! So quaint with great shops. Feels like you've gone back in time! Great restaurants with a hometown bakery! Wonderful way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon.
charming shoppes charming people fun and full of good shopping and loads of history did i say the people were charming?? they are …worth a day
I loved this downtown area! It had cute little shops and some good places to dine. We spent a fun afternoon, after eating lunch at Dumplings Restaurant, looking from store to store. The people were friendly and we even found some treasures to take back home. I would definitely return here!!
