“One of the best places to watch a concert”

If you have never been to the Down Home in JC, I have one suggestion. GO! I have been to concerts throughout the south and If you can catch a good performer on a weekend night at the Down Home, you are seeing live music at its best. “Boxcars were great! What a band!”

Food was nothing but snack stuff, chips and canned cheese goo. Ventilation poor. Cozy and hot! Wait staff overwhelmed but kind. Very good acoustics. Go early-stay late. Venue 3 stars, The Boxcars 5+ stars! Need to improve food if possible.

We got to see a group called "The Boxcars". The place was packed and they were turning away people at the door. We were told to get tickets before the concert and this was a great idea.
