Went to the castle after promising my son we would and it was great. The man on reception was very friendly and even lent us an umbrella. A good couple of hours spent in the castle. Would highly recommend. Reasonable admission as well.
Lovely place to visit. Loads of nooks and crannies to investigate, would be great for with kids! The gift shop is reasonably priced too.
One of the larger castles around the area but relatively well preserved for something thats been around since 1295. Do visit this wonderful historical site.
We just brought our group of 45 here on an EF tour. Wow, what a castle. It's in pretty good shape and it's so cool to see a real moat. Obviously, it's old but it's just amazing to think about what it used to be like and how people lived there. I'm glad we went & the kids agreed.
We visited Beaumariis Castle recently and had a very enjoyable visit. This castle is beautifully kept and projected. Such wonderful history. The Americans must love it!
Stayed at local hotel, great location, would be lovely for families. play area just next to it. nice little gift shop.
Beaumaris castle is lovely for wandering around and looking at the views from the battlements. Car Park is £2.50 on the spectacular waterfront, it's good value, wander around the town, have lunch, all good fun.
