Well preserved place the house is neat but grounds and outbuildings really tell the story. The carriage house is especially neat.

Interesting tour of an old plantation, but skip the wine tasting at the end (the wine was sweet and pretty awful). A little too theatrical a guided tour for my taste.

The belle Meade plantation was lovely, the tour guide we had was very enthusiastic and knew a lot of the local history aswell which made the tour much more informative and she bought the mansion alive. We'll worth the price of admission. Linda our tour guide was superb. The house is beautiful and the history of the horses quite impressive.

My Mom and I were looking for something to do while in Nashville and happened upon a hotel brochure with this as a suggested highlight of the city. We both found it very informative. I would definitely suggest this as it paints a realistic picture of life back then, as well as shining a light on the history of Nashville.
