You can wonder from bar to bar and hear some fantastic bands for your pleasure. The cost of the entertainment is reasonable with most places charging $5 per beer.

Good music up and down second avenue and Broadway all the time. Most places do not charge a cover except for BB Kings and it is worth it. Drinks are pricey everywhere and taxes are added on top of drinks.

many people just visit downtown and probably miss a lot of place, well. in downtown nashville, we can't miss a thing. specially the place robert's in downtown is such a classic. dont miss it.

Broadway street seemed very safe even though there appeared to be homeless musicians. There were quite a few intoxicated people walking around even on a Wednesday night. There are boots shops all over. I highly recommend wildhorse saloon. It is $4 for a bud light draft. $8 for a fruity rum mixed drink.

Walking the downtown area with all the bars and restaurants was so much fun. Bands were playing in every bar, usually in the window so that you could hear them on the street. It was clean and the whole atmosphere was fun and safe. Many choices for food and it was excellent.
