Our tour guide John grew up in Nashville and has obviously done his research. He was very knowledgable about the area and kept us entertained the whole time. In addition to taking us by many stars homes, he was also well prepared with videos of the stars performing and pictures of some of the homes in winter when there are... More

My husband and I love learning about the history of the places we visit. We thought this tour would be a great way to visit two historic locations - Belle Meade Plantation and the Hermitage. This tour included some pros and cons: Pros - We were able to ride in a large tour bus which was clean and meant that... More

I'm usually very pleased with Gray Line - and appreciate that today's country artists want privacy. So change the title or content on your "Stars" tour. Add more history - demographic info -- something besides "that's a big house". "Nobody mows their own lawn" - repeatedly. And the overwhelming theme - our bus driver can't afford anything! I'm writing this... More

I have done other night tours in other cities and found this to be the least informatiive....HOWEVER, as someone who was stuck in a hotel all week for a conference during daylight hours, I appreciated the opportunity to get out and spend some time on Broadway to enjoy some nightlife. The tour takes you by the capital, the music labels/studios,... More

Wonderful tour! We were able to see much more of Nashville with a tour guide/driver that is knowledgable of the city, plus he was very informative and funny. We visited places: The Ryman, Music Row, Centennial Park, and Country Music Hall of Fame and drove past much, much more. After the tour I have a list of many more things... More

My daughters were really looking forward to seeing the homes of Nashville's rich and famous (OK, Taylor Swift's home), but we were sadly disappointed. Yes, we drove past some nice homes, pointed at a gated community, looked from a distance at a high rise condo and heard some OK stories. But, unfortunately, the driver was such a downer, it really... Save your money and drive around admiring random beautiful homes on your own. Nashville has a lot of them and it wont cost you. The tour description said we would see Taylor Swift's home. What actually happened was we pulled over and the driver pointed out a high rise condo a mile away and told us which windows belonged to... More

Gray Lines offers several kinds of tours and we opted for the walking tour. It was an interesting and mostly fun way to hear interesting tidbits about Nashville. The one thing that wasn't that great was that as we were getting ready to leave on the tour, a car drove up with a family wanting to take the tour -... More

The tour was timed well. We had just enough time to enjoy the sights. We took the 6/12 hour tour, which was worth every penny, especially since you get private group tours of attractions.

Though its not the tours fault both the Ryman and centennial park Parthenon were closed today so it was about 70 of what was advertised. So if you take this tour maybe avoid a Sunday. Tour bus was also late and we waited in the rain so bring an umbrella if you come in those rainy seasons. Saw more of... More
