This was probably the most interesting museum I've ever been in. You leave with a much greater understanding of what is involved in bringing oil to us all. Also, you get a great view of the Harbor from the platforms.

We toured this museum while in Galveston. It was educational and not very expensive. It is right by Harbor House Hotel. Also, you can step out onto this platform and see the cruise ships. My husband and son are still talking about this place.

After seeing all those rigs in the area, it was fun to actually visit one. Information is well presented, including a short movie as an introduction to your visit. Well worth the price.

Great for anyone who is unfamiliar or familiar with offshore or onshore oil and gas operations. Great giftshop priced very affordably!

I found this to be very educational and informative. It was great to see how they can drill underground in several directions from one rig.

This is inexpensive and very interesting. The rig has a lot of history and much to see, do and touch. In Texas it is very nice to learn about our oil industry as it is so important to the state. Great place to take the whole family.

It was interesting to see what an oil rig is like to live on and even more interesting to see the very good visual displays of what goes on under the sea as well as what you can see from the surface. The views of the harbor from the third story of the rig were pretty great too.
