Do not rely on the lifeguards. My daughter came out of the kids slide and had trouble getting above water. The person carrying the big lifeguard sign was 2 steps from her and just watched. They don't care.

Free parking just outside the gate. It was a bit pricey and pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon. The lazy river was pretty full for most of the afternoon but it was still a nice relaxing ride. The slides were a lot of fun and lines weren't as long as you would think being there were so many people there....

Everyone was friendly and very helpful. We purchased a lock then forgot it at the desk. Before we could get back they had sent someone to find us. Many lifeguards stationed about and really paying attention. We rented a cabana. They were very attentive and pleasant. Lots to do for all ages. We are grandparents and had our 6 year...

We go every summer and a little pricey but what we do is get the two day package. You don't have to use the two days in a row. We go one day, the next do some touring, and back to schlitterbahn the next day. Lots of fun!
We went on a Monday before local schools out and not crowded at all and we had a good experience. Parked 100yds from the entrance and could bring in cooler. Good rides for kids and adults. The park is not huge, but not crowded. Lazy river is nice and other extreme is straight down Cliffhanger. Swim up bar for adults,...

I recommend a pass if you come to island frequently or do afternoon only. They have group rates for large families too. Areas for...

My boyfriend and I went without the children an had a blast! We Some of the employees were extra friendly and had us laughing! There was plenty of rides and entertainment to keep us entertained from the time the park opened until it closed.
Went here a couple of times and we were disappointed. There didn't seem like many slides to enjoy and seemed like nothing but the lazy river to do. I also feel for the price they charge to get in there should be more rides. They charge the same amount as Schlitterbahn in New Braunsfels and it doesn't even compare.
My husband and I went to Houston because he had a job interview. We decided to go to Schlitterbahn, just the 2 of us (we left the 5 kids at home). We had a blast! It wasn't very busy so we really didn't have to ever wait very long for the slides. We were there about 4 hours, which was...
