A long way down loads of steps but a beautiful beach with shallow water that the kids loved. Expensive for sunbeds and umbrellas but you wouldn't want to carry too much down these steps Just make sure you're not too tired for the climb back up because it is a long way

My favourite beach in salou. So much better than other beach. Clean, relaxing, quiet, not for people who can't get up & down stairs or steep hill

A lovely quiet beach, with a new access ramp down, allowing much easier access with a pushchair. Well worth going to.

Great beach with play areas right the way along. You have to pay to hire the sun loungers. Clean and tidy.

Lovely quiet beach, much favoured by locals and well sheltered. However it is a real pain to access when laden with bags and beach apparel and when driving a pushchair as the access is via numerous flights of steps. If you've no mobility issues or small children that require carrying up and down then this is a lovely spot to... More

There are lots of lovely coves and beaches in the Salou area but this was definitely my favourite! I'm not sure what it's like in season, but out of season it's quiet, clean and peaceful - a lovely long stretch of white sand with shallow water, and an easy walk from Salou or Cap Salou.

Platja Llarga is a beautiful beach to spend time one. It is in a quiet location surrounded by pine trees. The beach is in a pedestrian zone with lots of walking and landscaping. The water here is clear and clean and except for July and August when the water area is busy with yachts, catamarans and noisy water bikes, it... More

Situated in the largest cove but still not too big the beach is clean and the water safe with lifeguards present. As it's a bit of a walk from the local hotels it's fairly quiet and relaxing. Sun loungers are available at 4 euros per day and the guy you hire them from is a great laugh!
