Great place to visit if you have a couple of hours to kill. The Haley Library is right there too and the GHW Bush childhood home is close by. All 3 a nice way to knock off an afternoon.

There is a fine arts museum, planetarium, and children's museum. As a bonus just a few steps away is the Haley Memorial Library.

A gorgeous historic mansion that houses an art gallery, sculpture gardens, a planetarium and a children's museum. One stop family enjoyment!

In September, the Museum hosts a festival on it's grounds. This is a great opportunity to go in and see the museum. For a donation, you can look at classical and modern art, many artists are Western U.S., Western themed, and oil themed.
Fun place to go when there are exhibits. Really nice grounds.
It has been awhile since I have been to the Museum but I enjoyed it immensely when my children and I went with their school for a special cultural event.
