Canyons was a little more crowded than I prefer. We went over Christmas, and that's obviously their busy time. The resort was gorgeous and I loved the heated gondola, but I prefer skiing less crowded parks.

OK. Not all the terrain was open but we still had lots of fun. The weather and visibility could not be beat! It was a good thing that they had received new snow earlier in the week. We were there during the last week of operation and there were spots that were not open because of very low snow or...

This place is a glimpse of what the future of skiing will be everywhere. Once you've ridden the lift with the orange bubble, you'll agree. Every lift will one day be equipped with them. If the snow is horizontal, pull the bubble over you. If it's nice and sunny, leave it off. Great skiing. Monstrous terrain. Nice gondolas.
Have been out to SLC many times skiing and finally went to the Canyons this year. Incredible size and variety, Sometimes the flat sections get annoying but you can avoid them once you get the feel for the resort. So large you can easily spend a week here.

Skiing here is awesome. Lots of terrain and helpful friendly people to help assist with any questions. Lots of eateries close by.
concert at the end of day was cool. wish they had lifts run later in day. never a long wait for lifts & plenty of side restaurants to get a cold beer!
The recent additions are great improvements and made the skiing experience a little easier. Relocating the gondola and adding the Orange Bubble chair was genius. The options for dining have also been vastly improved. Services at the base can enhance your enjoyment as well - excellent lessons, superb boot fitting at Surefoot, stores for the accessories you forgot or a...
