Canyons was a little more crowded than I prefer. We went over Christmas, and that's obviously their busy time. The resort was gorgeous and I loved the heated gondola, but I prefer skiing less crowded parks.

OK. Not all the terrain was open but we still had lots of fun. The weather and visibility could not be beat! It was a good thing that they had received new snow earlier in the week. We were there during the last week of operation and there were spots that were not open because of very low snow or... More

This place is a glimpse of what the future of skiing will be everywhere. Once you've ridden the lift with the orange bubble, you'll agree. Every lift will one day be equipped with them. If the snow is horizontal, pull the bubble over you. If it's nice and sunny, leave it off. Great skiing. Monstrous terrain. Nice gondolas.

Have been out to SLC many times skiing and finally went to the Canyons this year. Incredible size and variety, Sometimes the flat sections get annoying but you can avoid them once you get the feel for the resort. So large you can easily spend a week here.

Having had such a great Learn to Ski experience at the Canyon's Ski School in the 2011-2012 season, I booked myself and 3 of my friends for a Learn to Ski lesson March 16, 2013 (we were all first to third time skiers - still in need of instruction). My issues with the Ski School are: 1. We were placed... More

out of the 3 ski resorts in park city, this would be my least favorite. it's still good, but layout is kinda odd. personal preference. good bbq food mid mtn. gondola and lift lines feel very bottle neck crowded in the morning to get up to mid mtn where things start to spread out. but still a good place. you... We stayed at The Canyons for a 3 day weekend and it was so convenient w/a toddler. It was a short walk to the Canyons Cub ski school..our 3 yr old son loved the ski instructors Mike and Ann-they were great! So good w/the kids, they texted us to let us know when and where they would be out skiing... More

The recent additions are great improvements and made the skiing experience a little easier. Relocating the gondola and adding the Orange Bubble chair was genius. The options for dining have also been vastly improved. Services at the base can enhance your enjoyment as well - excellent lessons, superb boot fitting at Surefoot, stores for the accessories you forgot or a... More
