The crew members are very knowledgable and funny. You get a good history of the island and what happens on the the "pony swim". Very relaxing depending on the weather. See ponies and birds of all kinds. Go by the lighthouse which is being reconstructed right now. Still is a nice sight. They very thoughtfully bring binoculars and blankets for... More

Captain Bob took us out to find the ponies. They were a bit elusive but he was determined to show our daughter some ponies even if we had to go to the Maryland border to find them. Fortunately we didn't have to go that far. He found two herds for us to watch. Boat is very comfortable and the guide... More

The boat that we were on was really comfortable. The boats can seat 6 people, we were 4. It was like we got our own private tour of the island. Our captain was very friendly and had lots of interesting stories to tell. Daisy's is a definate must when visiting Chincoteague Island.

We rode in a small, modern pontoon with leather sofas and chairs that had the feel of an outdoor lounge. Very comfortable seating indeed, and with just six passengers, you got to really talk and interact with the local operator/narrator. Although we didn't see a lot of wildlife and saw the ponies only from a distance, the guide worked hard... More

This was a must do on our list of things to do while in Virginia. We were not disappointed. Making the reservation was fast and easy and we even got a reminder call on the day of the tour telling us the time. This was very helpful as you are trying to do so many things on vacation that you... More

My family (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 6 children (ranging in age from 2 to 11) did a boat tour (2 boats) on July 9, 2012. The weather did not cooperate, but Daisey's made every effort to see to it that we still had a great time. The captain kept us safe when storms were in the area and he made... More

My husband and I heard about the famous ponies and wanted to make this a part of our 2 week journey up the East coast. From our first phone call to Daisey's Cruises, we were greeted with a friendly voice and were excited to meet the owners in person. The boat ride was extremely comfortable and enjoyable and our Captain... More

My 2 friends and I went on this tour with Cap't Lewis and all enjoyed ourselves immensely. The boat was much more luxurious than expected, every effort was made to make sure we were comfortable(was a little chilly that day) and our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We saw loads of birds, mares and foals and feel like we... More

The boat ride was fantastic. We were able to see bald eagle, osprey and wild ponies. The captain took us right up next to the ponies were we saw their babies and lots of other birds. The best part was seeing the dolphin as we were returning to the landing. Fabulous!!! Would do again.

We were the first cruise this year to see the dolphins. Captain Bill was just as excited as we were. We also saw the little foals running and playing on shore. this is a wonderful cruise.
