I came to Nicaragua with the hopes of learning some Spanish, being that what I learned in high school did not stick with me. On my first day I could not speak a complete sentence, but my wonderful one-on-one teacher Katia had me holding conversations by the end of my 5th day. I would absolutely make this school a stop... I had one-on-one classes with an intuitive, fun, sensitive, and smart teacher for two weeks, four hours a day. I was sad when my classes with Raquel were over. I had an excellent home stay with a delightful Nica family. Also Marlon taught me lots of Nica birds, Vanessa and Raquel lead us on many exciting "adventuras," all of which... More

My boyfriend and I spent two weeks studying at Casa Nica. We each paid $100/week which was a great price. The teachers were flexible and friendly. We enjoyed our lessons for the most part, the teachers listen to our desires and directed the lessons appropriately. The school is a little small and sometimes can be crowded with students which makes... More

This was my second stay at the school and I wanted to return because I learned so much the first time. I spent a few weeks at the school and enjoyed every minute. The teachers were friendly and easy to work with. I got to know other students from different parts of the world which made the trip even more... More

We took a one week 1-1 Spanish classes and we also did the homestay with a local family in Granada. Our level of Spanish was pretty much zero when we arrived at Casa Nica but even though most of the teachers doesn't speak any English the classes went great and the managed to teach us some basic Spanish! We have... More

I just completed the hours, and am buying a new package. They are flexible with your schedule, and will find hours that work best for you, and make it as... More

In November 2012 we spent one week in Granada - having spanish lessons and living next door to Casa Nica with a very friendly Nicaraguan familiy. Overall we had a great and intensive time. We choosed 1-1 lessons, so our teachers instructed us indivdually and we learned a lot: the language, customs and nicaraguan history. Their instructions really fitted to... More

This is a great place to learn spanish and make some knew friends. In my personal opinion its one of the best Spanish schools in Granada for the warm friendly treatment you receive when you walk through the door.

The learning experience was very educational. I studied with Vanesa Mercado who is not a college student and she helped me to get the most out of the lessons. Its was amazing that she knew exactly where to begin in my instruction. I stayed at the school and the accommodations also met my needs. The teachers are also kind and... More

The instructors know nothing about teaching. They are just college students working part time. They do not offer any kind of structure for learning.
