This was the best wine tour I have ever been on. The host more or less described Italian soul and culture, not the technical process for making wine. The meal was good, and the wine very good. The wine price was reasonable and the cost to ship to the US was cheap.

My husband and I came here for his birthday and we found out that they offer a private tour of the magnificent castle and wine cellars in the evening followed by a 7 course Italian dinner with matching wines. They started us off with an appetizer/sparkling wine and then led a sunset tour through the beautiful castle and its amenities.... More

We loved visiting Castello di Verrazzano. The views were spectacular, the tour was entertaining, the wine and food were delicious and the balsamic vinegar was to die for! They were wonderful and accomodating with my son (15 months old). A perfect way to spend a day in tuscany.

Knowledgeable tour guide and great tour of the grounds and cellars of the winery. The grounds and views are absolutely gorgeous! We had a great lunch with a tasting of 3 of their wines and Grappa.

We actually didn't do the tour, we just took in the views, the castle, the grounds, ate a most impressive lunch and drank lots of the Classico and topped it off with a taste of the Grappa. I was especially a fan of their wine, and the Olive Oil. I'd say this is definitely worth putting on your itinerary when... More

This was a great wine tasting with an interesting tour and history of grounds. We did 3 pm tour which included tour, tasting of 3 wines, basalmic vinegar with piece of cheese and olive oil with bread. Price was good for tasting and there are amazing views. I don't recommend walking however from the bus stop in Grita. We were... More

We chose the 11am tour with a light lunch included. The tour group was fairly large, and the tour guide would start talking before everyone was caught up. The first little bit we missed because we were at the back of the group, but once we figured it out, we stayed at the front the entire time and were able... More

We had a tremendous time at Castello do Verrazzano! I just love the methodology of the estate, no chemicals, they not only make a great vino but also a lovely olive oil from their groves, and a balsamic that is heavenly with the local cheese. The prosciutto and salami are form the wild boar that are free to roam around... More

We toured Castello di Verrazzano in April 2013. Jillian, our tour guide, was personable and friendly. The tour was informative and beautiful. The owner and his wife were strolling around the grounds, and it was fun to meet them. I believe we had 9 people on our tour. Jillian answered all of our questions. The wine was great! Don't forget... More

We booked a wine tour with a light lunch through the tourist office in Greve in Chianti. Very good tour, our guide, Mateo, could not be nicer. The wine was good, the lunch very good and the aceto balsamico absolutely great! The property deserves a visit. Not only the building is very beautiful, the gardens and the views of the... More
