I really enjoy sandbridge. It is nice, clean, and not overcrowded. You can find parking and I love the kids park.

Sandbridge is known as a vacation rental home haven. Rented Coastal View Ii through Sandbridge Realty. The house is in poor upkeep and dirty. Sandbridge Realty was not helpful in correcting issues. House for 20 people and many appliances did not work. Sales staff was very poor, I would not recommend this company.

Sandbridge is much less crowded than the Oceanfront. It has nice a bathhouse, playground and picnic area.

Great place to "just chill". It has a couple of restaurants and a general store where you can pick up some sandwiches for a nice picnic on the beach. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. Great houses there to rent.

We've rented cottages there and have always enjoyed to relaxed vibe of the area. There is a city park with nice picnic areas and beach access and a state park with kayak/canoe launch and nature trail. Keep an eye out for the horses, pigs, hawks, eagles, ospreys and wonderful waterfowl.

If you are visiting Va Beach make sure to stop by Sandbridge. It's south of the Oceanfront and more relaxed. The Oceanfront can get very busy during the summer and Sandbridge is a lot less busy. There is national park nearby that has great walking trails and beach access.
