We hit this trail a couple times a month when the weather is nice. Most of it is easy enough for small kids. We usually start near Fairhaven or Boulevard Park and head south towards Larrabee State Park and see how long to kids can make it. When we take the kids we usually stop at Arroyo Park - south... We have rode our trail bike on this trail and it is a beautiful trail. I would recommend it for families with kids that enjoy bike rides.

We walk the interurban trail often and it never fails to delight us. There is plenty of room for walkers, runners, and bikers. The city keeps up the trail so there is little danger of tripping. And the trail is very well marked with sign posts.

Perfect distance for a refreshing walk along the water! It is mostly flat and offers lovely views. There is a great little coffee place right on the water as you get close to the Fairhaven end of the trail.

Accessible from a number of locations, the trail is well-maintained and fairly heavily used. Improvements in the Fairview area include an over-water ramp and pier. Hikes of varying distance are available.

And also a nice hike/walk trail. Can be a bit busy on weekends, but very open during the week. Nice to have it so close to populated areas.

My daughter and I rented bikes and rode from Bellingham to Larrabee State Park. What a stunning ride. Though we went on a hot day, the ride was pleasant since there was a canopy of evergreen trees providing shade. The one surprise was the single track trail in the middle of the 7 mile ride. That part included some steep... More

This is a long and popular trail through Chuckanut Mtn. You can encounter hikers, bikers and horseback riders on your walk. No motorized vehicles allowed.

As a runner, I use this trail year-round. You can take this trail all the way from Bellingham to Larrabee State Park (which offers a whole other set of great trails for hikers and the like who want to access the Chuckanut Mountains). The trail is very user friendly, flat and wide, and nestled among the forest trees. Ocean views... More
