When I'm up in Bellingham on a Saturday, I love to go to the farmer's market. Especially when the weather is nice and the market has extended to the outdoors. There are lots of local treasures - the fruits and vegetables are fresh and plentiful (the last time I went I was planning to make a soup - I was... More

Wow! Great venue for a wedding where about 300 guests are invited. The white tables and chairs were a perfect background for bridal colors. Food was along the townside back wall and the ceremony itself along the waterside. The aisle for the bridal party was the full length of the building giving everyone a great view. The building itself is... More

Bellingham Farmers market is open on Saturdays through the Spring, Summer and Fall. There are many craft stalls there and a great variety of food places where you can get everything from crepes to hot dogs. There are also many vegetable stands manned by the local small farmers where everything is local and a great many varieties are organic. There... More

A great place to walk about, shop and enjoy interesting food. Many stalls are under a shelter and even on a rainy day this place is fun to explore. Plenty of food to eat or take home plus lots of crafts. A must stop for anyone visiting Bellingham.

Part of my trip report: http://www.tripadvisor.com/GoListEditor-i30345-Trip_Report_Seattle_to_Bellingham_to.html We arrived in Bellingham on the 4th of July - luckily a Wednesday so the market was happening. Easiest way to find it -- behind Village Books. The market is small and charming - a few produce vendors, artisans, ice cream, and baked goods. The vendors form a square around the grassy area. There... More

Every Saturday, Spring through Fall, this local farmer's market comes to life in the heart of Bellingham. In the market you can find lots of farm stands, including plenty of organic farm vendors, selling local produce. You can also find many good food stands serving a wide variety of delicious foods and treats. The market also features many arts and... More

After hearing so much hype about this farmer's market, we decided to visit after a tour of WWU. We got there late...right before closing time of 3:00, but we didn't realize it because we had been told that it stayed open until 4:00. The vendor where we ordered fish tacos didn't tell us that they were closing....just told us that... More

Lots to see here and poke around for a few hours. Fresh produce, great soaps, lotions, lavender and even a chance to get a chair massage to feel relaxed. The lunch/food area is certainly eclectric and offers some interesting choices.

Four of us (two couples) traveled down to Bellingham WA on the Alaska Marine Highway and spent several wonderful days roaming around Bellingham. We really enjoyed the Mt. Baker Highway (Rte. 542), the Plover Ferry out of Blaine, the Art Walk in Bellingham, and of course, the Bellingham Farmer's Market. Lots of great food to eat and food to buy,... More

The Bellingham Farmers Market is open every Saturday, 10 AM to 3 PM, starting on the first Saturday in April and running to the Saturday before Christmas. At the height of the growing season there will be over 100 vendors: vegetable and fruit growers, prepared food providers (Indian, Ethiopian, Greek, Thai, bakery, meats, cheeses, etc.), and crafts people.
