We visited here recently and were amazed at all the different Nutcrackers in this small museum. The variety, the materials and all the cultures represented made for an interesting visit. They charge a small entrance fee. The two ladies managing the place were delightful. Definitely worth the time to see this display.

As soon as I saw the Squirrel nutcrackers I was drawn in. It is very interesting seeing all the nutcrackers through the ages. Make sure to stop in.

Like the Cuckoo clocks that Austria and Switzerland are famous for, The Nutcracker ballet introduced me to The Nutcracker. Seeped in fun and colour this museum will introduce to a collectors dream. Great place for over 12 years of age.

This is a Leavenworth staple. Such a diverse collection and neat knick-knacks to pick up as souvenirs. Serious collectors would have a blast.

It was an enjoyable visit - learned a great deal about Nutcrackers and had not realized there were so many different varieties. Saw a brief film. Our 14 year old like the film - probably so he could sit down after walking all around town. The museum was interesting and a good value for the money. Something different to do,... More

Well worth the $2.50 admission. A worthwhile 30-45 minute stop for a family. Take a photo of the life size nutcracker..

Outside of vising the original Katie Wolfart shop in Rothenburg, DE, this is probably the best display of Nutcrackers and other regional handmade crafts I've seen.

Very interesting! Quiet and well put together! The owner lady was friendly. We did not bring children. Don't bring children that are loud or rowdy I think!

We didn't have enough time to spend there. I collect Nutcrackers and really enjoyed walking through the musuem and shop. There is a nominal fee, well worth it.

There's so much to see here, it's almost a little overwhelming. But...if Christmas is your time of year and you are at all interested in what the Nutcracker "thing" is all about, this is a really fun stop in the Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth. Not to mention, it's free!
