Heritage Towers is a hidden jewel in the heart of downtown Charleston, WV. The owners have put together an amazing collection of artifacts and art to celebrate the richness of African and Afro-Appalachian cultures. The visitor learns much more than expected duirng a tour of the facilty. Visiting the museum is a worthwhile activity for young and old alike.

This is a very well done little museum. The owners took us on a guided tour and were great about engaging the kids and making them think. They have quite an extensive collection of African American (and West Virginia!) history. Very educational even the adults learned something new. It was an afternoon well spent.
