Nice place with a lot of comforts. While learning more about the area and putting this beautiful area in perspective. I always go in there when I am in the area if it is open. Can view the rock climbers from the back porch.

The trails were closed for repairs when we were ther but we still spent a long time in the visitors center seeing the movie and looking at the displays. Plan to return when we can to hike the trail to the top of Seneca Rocks.
my husband and i were on our way to seneca caverns and passed this and decided to stop. its got a good sized gift shop and a few different exhibits. there are also some trails you can walk, and an amazing view of seneca rocks!
Rugged hike to top of Seneca Rocks. Take the horseback trip if you can't make the climb. Trails are well marked

A very nice VC w/ lots of displays, maps, dioramas, etc. If you were going to go climbing or hiking into the wilderness area, it is a must stop to gather info. If you are just passing through, it really explains the geography, geology, and peoples of the region.
This visitor center is one of the best I've seen. Very informative and great displays. They also have an abundance of local information and maps, as well as a wide selection of souvenirs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If you are hiking in the area I recommend stopping at the visitor center to pick up a map or...

Very nice interpretive center near base of Seneca Rocks in the Monongahela National Forest. New facility, friendly staff, clean restrooms, small gift shop with some good books. They even have some comfortable chairs where you can watch the climbers on the rocks-you're air conditioned and safe, the climbers aren't! Very well maintained walking trails. Behind the Discovery Center, the trail...
