Our kids, 7 and 5, enjoyed the exhibits very much. We easily spend a few hours there and did not run out of things to do. The staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent place to spend the afternoon.

Yes, it is small, but so is my 2 yr. old grandson. All of the stations (diner, grocery, boat, lighthouse, firefighter, shoe store, tree house, arts center, etc) were all geared to real life fantasy. He thoroughly enjoyed the three hours we were there this fine Saturday afternoon. Sure we could have gone to the mall, but we chose to...

The museum was clean and bright, however with the exception of 3 activities in one exhibit, everything is really geared toward very small children. If you children are over 7, I would not recommend it. If they are under, they will have great fun.
We were told that this museum just opened in June of 2012. It's beautiful! Whoever came up with the layout and the interactive areas for the kids was extremely creative! We were impressed with all of the small details of each of the exhibits/activities. We went on a Saturday and they had a free pint-size Picasso painting workshop - providing...

I feel a little bad giving this place an "Average". Because it REALLY is a nice place. Clean, Neat creative stations for the kids. Our kids loved it, but the cost for admission was higher than I expected. We'll probably do something different next time we visit that area.
Comparing this museum to the one in Milwaukee, I would have to say that it's a lot smaller. Tight spaces but lots of attractions for the kids. I loved the huge digestive system. Kids enter through the mouth, by climbing up the tongue stairs. They progress through the "body" and and exit through..., landing in a "toilet". There is a...

Many great interactive stations (art area, fire station, gastrointestinal tract, ship, sand box, great diner, tree house) that can keep young kids busy for hours. We were there on a rainy Saturday and it was very congested. Free parking garage is a plus.
Took two of our granddaughters to the Children's Museum recently. Found it suited for 3 - 6 year olds, but nothing really for any older than that. Our granddaughters are 9 and 11 and they really didn't find that much to do. After the long period of time that it took to plan and build the Children's Museum I really...

There is a fire house, complete with a fire truck, dress up fire men outfits, a pole to slide down, and even hoses to spray out...

We attended one of the first days this museum was open and without going into detail about all the exhibits, I will just say that my ten year-old spent over five hours here being amused, entertained, and educated. There are sections on sports (sponsored by the Packers), the human digestive system, a water play area (which was IMO the best...
