There are many types of animals to see, we spend almost a day there. There are some days would be free of charge, so you can go there on these days, but there would be more people, free parking outside may be difficult.

This zoo is for all ages. A lot of animals to see. Kids area for kids to play. Great food and Beer for adults. Can't leave this zoo without going on the train ride. They have events going on at the zoo all year round. They have indoor viewing for the cold months. This zoo would be better than the...

It is a small city zoo. Milwaukee's zoo is certainly not on the level of Chicago-area zoos(an hour away) and cannot be compared with zoos such as the National Zoo or San Diego , Many of the animals are not on display in a "natural" setting.
We have been to many zoos on our travels and I have to say, our Milwaukee zoo is pretty great. I love the compassion the zookeepers have for our animals and the care you see when you get a glimpse of this when you see behind the scenes. I am proud of our zoo for the successes in tiger, lion,...

I love the zoo. I take my family to as many zoos as possible and have grown to love this zoo. We bought a zoo pass because it just makes sense. Nice attractions and exhibits. I would love to see more big cats but they have a decent big cat exhibit i suppose.
We went on the first nice weather...

Fun zoo, Easy to get to. kids loved the monorail through the zoo. animal houses worked well. Nice place to have lunch in picnic area.very clean.
we stop at the zoo every time we are in Milwaukee before a Brewers game. Just a short drive to Miller Park from here. All the exhibits are well done and we can tell the animals are well cared for. The apes and the big cats are always fun to watch. If the wolves are out they are also interesting....

My review might be a bit biased, as my home town zoo is the St. Louis Zoo, which by comparision blows Milwaukee out of the park. That being said, Milwaukee was a little let down, as a lot of the exhibits were older. However, I was impressed by the Big Cats house, as the Lion was right by the glass,...

Is an amazing big zoo. Strongly recommend going to it. A little pricy but worth it! Always a great zoo to come back and visit!
It's a medium sized zoo with smaller crowds. Very low key but has everything you'd want to see. I'd rather bring a family here than somewhere like Chicago.
