We have been here a few times in the past but were very surprised to see they are continuing to expand the memorabilia collection and the restoration of the home.

We toured the Pabst Mansion on a whim, arriving just as a tour was starting, so no waiting which was great. $9 admission and a volunteer docent walked through the rooms and made the Pabst family come alive while giving details ranging from the woodwork, furniture, construction methods, and the wonderful copy of an original letter written by Mr. Pabst...

We toured The Pabst Mansion and were very impressed with the docents knowledge. The interior is breathtaking and you really get a feel for how the family lived and how modern their home was back then.
Would definitely recommend doing this tour. We picked up a half- price deal on Groupon but it would still be well worth it at full price. It's a beautiful historical mansion and the inside is just gorgeous with extensive woodworking detail. You need to see and experience! Our guide was fantastic and VERY knowledgeable about the building and gave us...

If you love local history (or even if you don't!), this tour is highly recommended. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and very informative. You can tell that she really enjoys her job. The mansion is exquiste and so well preserved. It made us want to visit the other area mansions.
Visited the home at Christmastime a few years ago. Beautiful. Everyone in our party enjoyed touring it and learning about the history of the family. Well worth a visit! (What a pity other homes like this have been torn down.)
We really enjoyed this tour. Most of the house has been completely restored to the condition it was in when the Pabsts lived there. They are currently working on one room on the third floor, but you can still tour it and see the restoration. They have great plans for the home and a future visitors center. I recommend it...

Quick trip to a luxurious past. Great way to spend 2 hours learning about an interesting family with a fabulous house.
The location is a little outside downtown. Although the grand dame is no longer in its original posh setting (all its fancy neighbors have gone, and it's the only mansion left), it is very nicely preserved and worth a visit. The interior is beautiful and must be seen to be believed.
Looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon in Milwaukee, we walked three blocks from our hotel to the Pabst Mansion. The only way to see the home of the former beer baron is by guided tour, which starts every hour on the hour. Our docent, Dan Luedtke, had volumes of family and property history at his command. It...
