We have three kids (3,5,6) and there was almost too much information to take in while keeping them in order. There were 7 of us on this trip to Wyoming. Three were my husband's family visiting from Germany to the USA. All enjoyed the museum and so many things to see in the area. Rent a car and travel around Wyoming.

This is a deceptive visitor center. It has one level looking from outside but goes down about three levels inside so is a huge place to tour. Give it a whole day, possibly two. They have added many more features since the last visit around 5 years ago.

This museum is awesome. We live locally and go there often. The gun collection is second to none! Fun for the entire family.

I could have stayed around this place for a couple of days and still not seen everything. The Natural History and Plains Indians museums were the highlights for me though. Excellent.
