the only reason i didn't rate excellent, was that i wanted less roominess in this area and more pieces. However, that said, it was, hands down, the best representation of the plains Indians I have ever seen, including east coast BIG museums. Everything was honest, raw and to my wife, heart-wrenching. As I said, there is more the museum has... More

This museum has a breath taking display of crafts of the planes Indians. Very many beautiful and interesting things on display. It sure brought out the boy in me. I was dreaming of adopted pony racking across the planes chasing after the heard of buffalo!

This is a very nice and educational museum. The kids will like it, very informative. They have some inactive displays and some areas with short movies.

Political correctness or not, this is part of the BBHC (Buffalo Bill Historical Center) complex of 5 museums... ALL excellent... ALL worthy of your attention. Go and go again, you always find something new to learn and discover. Excellent exhibits.

The entire set up of the Buffalo Bill Cody Historic Centre was fabulous and great value for money. We weren't interested in the firearms museum, and had seen plenty of western art elsewhere in the building, so we gave those two a miss. And we still spent two mornings in the buildings, within the other three museums and particularly enjoyed... More

This is the best American Indian exhibit that we've ever seen. Don't even bother with the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian; it is soooooooooo disappointing. This exhibit is exactly where it should be and for the same price, you also get the firearms museum, Buffalo Bill, and Yellowstone Natural History.
