We hadn't been to the preserve on previous trips. The hike to Phelps Lake was incredible and it was an added treat that there were benches at the lake where we could dangle our tired feet into the freezing cold water. We were also treated to a walk-by of a mule deer doe. Great day. Thank you Laurance Rockefeller for... More

This is a hidden gem off Moose-Wilson Road and we happened upon it while looking for moose. It was a nice place for a break and for us to eat lunch (though they have no picnic tables - they do have great Adirondack chairs on the deck). There are hiking trails and a nice platform/deck over a beautiful part of... More

Very nice and great place to start a hike. The welcome center is very well done and the people there were great. Very friendly and informative. If you go down the road a little, there is another small facility that has a couple of great trailheads

The preserve is a nice, quiet place to observe nature, There is a listening room, where you can close your eves and hear the sounds of the Tetons national park.

This is a terrific stop. Don't miss it! The displays are, well, cool! A sensory zen-like experience. Be sure to walk the path to the river and waterfall landing areas.

This preserve is a beautiful spot to walk, relax, meditate, and just be in nature. The trail to the lake is gorgeous and definitely family friendly.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit this phenomenal preserve. Make sure to go to the Visitor Center...it is absolutely a MUST SEE particularly the audio exhibit of a full 24 hours of the sounds you hear in the forest. My teenagers loved the hike to the beautiful lake.

The hike to Phelps lake was challenging in a good way for a person who is not a regular hiker. Once you are at the end of the trail, the end result is worth the work of getting there. It is beautiful there.

This was a hike along a fast flowing creek to a peaceful lake. Multiple routes are available and it is very family friendly
