It's pretty small, but that just means that it's a nice way to spend a couple hours or so. We particularly enjoyed learning the history of the area through the great photographs.

This is a small by intense dose of American West art. The bronzes that meet you in the parking lot look so dramatic with snow on. The building is modern but rugged, kid friendly, great high quality lunch cafe. The view of the elk refuge is right out the windows.

Although there was a small entrance fee, the museum provides a lot of good local information to put your visit to Jackson into historical perspective. Must have been quite an experience to live in this area in the early days of our country. Took about an hour to go through.

good location in a great town ,recommend everybody to try the place on entering Jackson.Staff very good on knowledge

The displays were interesting and well done. The map of movie locations was most interesting. The docent on site was very friendly and helpful.
