This place is like stepping back into the 1800's! The tour guide shared so many beautiful stories about the rich history. Great little restaurant inside as well. All in all a wonderful spot to stop.

The Sheridan Inn has provided our town with many wonderful, and some strange memories. Now closed, due to money problems, the inn has a rich history. Miss Kate was a loyal housekeeper who still haunts the upstairs. Watch for her lamp going from room to room. When the Inn was open, her smell was sometimes present. Her good spirit guards... More

While on the road we happened upon this gem. We ate in their restored saloon and had a great lunch of chili, fries and lemonade with berry cake for dessert. The waitress was very friendly and provided wonderful service. The lunch was not cheap but the atmosphere and the good food made for a pleasant experience. After lunch we were... More

This was an interesting bit of history, especially if you like cowboy related history. We got a bite to eat at the Grille...the buffalo chili was very good.

Ground floor is restored faithfully and it was easy to imagine 19th century visitors there. The 1893 bar and grille was delightfully authentic and I had an excellent clam chowder and steak. Service was quite good, too.

This place is the perfect rest stop for any trip through Wyoming. We stopped in and were warmly welcomed by the hotel historian. She took the time to tour the building. It was so honest and refreshing. Next, we went to the bar, grabbed some snacks and sat in Buffalo Bill's seat. The bartender was very friendly and provided attentive... More

Being a wild west history fan I thoroughly enjoyed going into the Sheridan Inn. We saw pictures of Calamity Jane, Buffalo Bill Cody's Saloon and signature, and many other historical items there. With the train station right across the street it has a definite feel of stepping right into the old wild west.

A lovely quaint place, A little pricey but great food. Our server was very good & attentive. The hotel itself looked nice but never saw the rooms. We had trouble finding it but after 3 attempts we found it & we are glad that we did!

The lower floor is basically finished. They have completed 2 of 22 rooms upstairs and will open it as a bed and breakfast. I don't know when that will happen. There is a restaurant on the first level and the food and service was very good. The outside of the building is impressive as well as the restaurant.
