My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. It was very interesting and most informative about life in the 1890s. A wonderful tour for the whole family. The Portuguese Bread is out of this world. It's only available on Thursdays, usually sold out by 1pm The staff and volunteers at both places are very friendly and love sharing the history.

We recently toured the Greenwell Store Museum, part of the Kona Historical Society. Our docent was very well informed about the pioneer history of the area and the Greenwell family. The store has been carefully restored and stocked with items that would have been for sale in its heyday. Well worth a visit!
