Luckily, this was one of our first stops in Maui. They have a lot of the same things but then some unique items as well. I would highly recommend trying some of the butters made on Maui. We brought a lot home. Coconut butter was excellent. We also bought some coconut candy which was so good as well. We got... More

This place is only open on Saturdays from 7am-1pm. If you can, make this your first shopping stop if your trip. You will see variety if goods that are cheaper than the mainstream tourist shops. Also, bring cash. I had $8 and was able to get a Maui samosa, banana egg rolls and pineapple upside down cake. Would like to... More

This is one of the best farmer's markets I have ever seen. My family spent 2 1/2 hours on site and had a great time. This was an interesting an dunique perspective on Maui. There were many characters here - in the booths and on the grounds. The people watching was as much fun as the browsing. There were many... More

I last reviewed the Swap Meet location shortly after they moved to their new, bigger location across from the Maui Arts and Cultural Center on the grounds of the (now) U H Maui College... at first the new location, other than being new, was just slightly larger vendor wise...with rather pitiful food vendor choices... fast forward 2+ years... the avg... This is a great swap meet to go for farmer's market and souveniers. A lot of the same items you will see in stores or at other craft fairs will be here. In addition, there are several local carvers where you can buy wood or bone carvings that will be more unique to the area. My wife found a carved... More

Make sure you come early because the swap meet gets very busy and walking around can get extremely hot with the sun shining overhead. Lots of great souvenirs to pick up at reasonable prices and the flowers, fruits and vegetable stands are a must. Great selection and great prices!

We go here every Saturday to buy most of the vegetables we eat through the week. Look around first the prices change every week. The same place isn't always the cheapest every week. They have great amd fresh local veggies.

The swap meet opens from 7am-1pm on Saturdays. It's best to go early in the morning because the sun can get pretty intense while your shopping. There are lot of vendors and we can spend a couple of hours buying our produce and finding special souvenirs. The produce is really excellent and so are the prices. We found ripe papayas,... More

We enjoy the swap meet each time we come to Maui. You will find gifts for friends back home that are priced more reasonably than anywhere else on the island. The produce is way, way less expensive than the grocery stores and is so fresh. Vendors are very friendly and helpful. Wear sunscreen and try the mango lemonade, it is... More
