Jurassic Helicopters tour service is an exceptional way to view west Maui and Molokai. Their high level of service and commitment to customers is evident. I felt completely confident throughout the booking process.
The pilot, an ex-coast guard pilot, was very professional and an informative guide. It’s quite an adventure starting with the dramatic music (it is where Jurassic Park 3 was filmed) and stunning the scenery – with the tallest sea cliffs in the world. He provided tons of details about all aspects of the islands including their cultural, economic, and geological features. As well as flying by the Leper Colony, giving us information on Father Damien and sadly it still has a few residents.
Everyone onboard was able to take photos of the views and waterfalls.
Most tours leave from the heliport at Kahului airport on Maui, but Jurassic Helicopters departs from the rooftop of the Hyatt Regency on Ka'anapali Beach. If you are staying in Kapalua this is very convenient & saves a 3 hour road trip, slightly more expensive without the travel hassle.
Enjoy, it’s a wonderful experience.

Not one to write reviews, but this company deserves the accolades for a fantastic overall experience. The operators are definitely pros, the pilot we had was past military (thank you again for your service), the value was terrific (we had a private tour for just four passengers) and their honesty is to be admired. We had decent weather at our allotted reservation but since Molokai was under cloud cover - they called us a few hours in advance to let us know we would have a more enjoyable trip when the clouds lifted. Amazing, as all the other operators were headed over to Molokai despite the lack of visibility. Jurassic gets all our future business for a number of reasons, but this concern for their client's experience elevates them far above the competition. We have flown many of the well-known helicopter companies over the years, they're all pretty good, but Jurassic was the best experience yet. The fact that they depart and return to Lahaina is a huge advantage, one for which my party both enjoyed and benefitted. Our congratulations to this great new service, we'll see you soon.

We had a great trip to see Moloka'i. The views were stunning and the pilot was able to tell us so much we didn't know. Without another Maui helicopter tour to reference this trip to, I couldn't say it's the best or not. But it was worth it to go. The only downside is that we left an hour and 10 minutes later than scheduled. But the Hyatt was nice enough to wait for our trip.

This tour service is an exceptional way to view Maui and Molokai. Lawrence Balter owns and operates the company. His level of service and commitment to customers is evident. I felt completely valued throughout the booking process. He went out of his way to make sure that I was accommodated when an air conditioning problem caused the rescheduling of my tour slot. His professionalism was appreciated.
Tim, the pilot, was also professional and an informative guide. He provided plenty of detail about various aspects of the islands including their cultural, economic, and geological features. Everyone onboard had opportunities to take photos of the exotic terrain. I was duly impressed by Tim's guiding skills.
Most tours leave from the heliport at the airport on Maui, but Jurassic Helicopters departs from the rooftop of the Hyatt Regency on Ka'anapali Beach for a modest up charge. This is very convenient when staying in that area. One can call the company directly or make arrangements through a resort concierge.
Enjoy an amazing experience!

My wife and I just returned home to Thailand after a visit to Hawaii the first week of June. While on Maui we stayed at The Westin Kaanapali Resort, it was fantastic. We wanted to do a helicopter trip while we were here. Amazingly, after searching for helicopter trips we found one right next door at the Hyatt! We had only 3 days on Maui so finding a Helicopter trip at a hotel, instead of and entire day to drive to the other side of the island and back, was like a magical bonus for us (we went to a luau the same evening). I will say, checking in and being led to the heliport on the roof top was like being in a movie. The pilot briefed us and we were set to go. What an amazing adventure, the music, the scenery, the photos we took....all priceless. I don't know if we'll ever get back to Maui, but if we do, this helicopter trip will be the first thing that we'll want to do again!

Four of us took the Jurassic Tour to Molokai In early June and it was an incredible
experience. The ride from the Hyatt was very convenient and gave us more time over the Island. The
views are breathtaking. Getting a birds eye view of the valleys, peaks, waterfalls and cliffs from the air was awesome. It is another world that you can really appreciate only
from the air. The 55 minutes goes by quick,
for the money I wish somehow it could've lasted another 20 but we're all impressed with the pilot's expertise and give it a 5 star experience.

Took the tour above molokai from the Hyatt rooftop. Amazing views! great soundtrack and explanations from the extremely knowledgeable pilot. Notes to owners: 1. Would be even better if you could record and give participants the soundtrack with the music and explanations. A video with the views and soundtrack would be even better but maybe more tricky to set up. 2. Dark pants as important as shirts. The pilots pants reflection is in half my pictures.

My family and I were staying at the Westin next door to the Hyatt and we really wanted to go for a helicopter tour. The agent at the hotel didn't mention that there was one right next door to where we were staying. Good thing my son found a brochure. It saved us about 3 hrs of driving. We were escorted to a nice room right on the roof where our pilot Tim met us. We instantly felt confident and comfortable with him. The helicopter is cool looking and the kids wanted photos by the big gecko painted on the side. Once we started up we had this amazing feeling of lifting off the roof. The music was perfect. In just minutes we were at the waterfalls. Wow! My wife was in tears as not only was it glorious but totally timed perfectly with the orchestra (I'm a musician). We flew all along the tallest sea cliffs in the world and it was narrated brilliantly by our pilot. We flew over where they filmed Jurassic Park 3 which my kids insisted we watch again! This activity was the pinnacle of our Hawaii experience for the family. Thank you Tim!
