Fantastic setting and exhibits. Easy to get to with public transport. Structure at the front of the museum a miniature of the pyramid at the Louvre.

easy transit ride or drive. Grounds are beautiful. We spent 4 hrs there and still didn't see everything. The art and history were amazing. Would visit again, Beautiful view of the bay.

Legion of Honor is a historic building that sits on top of a hill, overlooking the Presidio & Golden Gate Bridge. The Legion of Honor has many wonderful exhibits each year. A majority of the exhibits are from France. The best part about the Legion of Honor is that is not as crowded as the De Young in Golden Gate... More

Quaint museum but very nice and great gallery. The Lands End trail is very close to this. A must see/do

You cant imagine that there is a museum with his collection in San Francisco, it is worth it if you are very interested in art. The view from the building is fantastic and the building itself is really pretty.

Different. My fiancee and I went to view this as a potential wedding venue; and came away underwhelmed in all aspects. Unless you REALLY love Rodin; the legion is small and unimpressive - even by museum standards. Its ten dollars a person for what equates to maybe 1 hour of walking around looking. Gorgeous views but that is all.

This is my first visit after three years. The exhibits are much expanded. This may be due to the fact that this museum is now part of de Young Museum. There was even a performance by an organist. The store is very well organized and café was excellent.

Beautiful art work, much more than I expected. Great variety from many famous artists. The gardens were beautiful, the building was amazing. I wish I had more time to spend there, definitely worth visiting.

There really are no words to describe the Legion of Honor, the best I can come up with is - Amazing and Awesome. I am not a "Museum" type of person nor an "Artsy" person, you do not have to be to visit here. The art works or so many draw you in and bring a speechlessness to you. Each... More
