He would have asked you for ten cents admission and introduced you to his fantasy world. Since it is documented that no one ever witnessed Ed's labor in building his beloved Coral Castle, some have said he had supernatural powers. Ed would only say that he knew the secrets used to build the ancient pyramids and if he could learn them, you could too. Today, you can tour the Coral Castle with our tour guides. Narration available in English, Spanish, French or German, Japanese, and Russian. Features of the Coral Castle Museum include a 9-ton gate, a Polaris telescope. We invite you to witness for yourself what millions saw on national TV's "Ancient Aliens" "Sabado Gigante's Don Francisco" "Good Morning America" "That's Incredible" "In Search Of..." "You Asked For It!" and "Ripley's Believe It or Not". Billy Idol wrote his hit song, "Sweet Sixteen" just for us. Coral Castle is one of the Top 10 Historic Hot Spots in South Florida!! « less

ok the Castle was worth it!!!!!- BUT----------the trauma of trying to get people to help us find it was very inefficient and disappointing -------- - we were from overseas and had no transport (no tours go there from Miami) and we wanted to see if there was a way to travel there via public transport - We phoned the people... It certainly is not what you come to Homestead to see, but once you are here, for an hour and $15 dollars, it was very interesting and entertaining. There is a 45 minute tour constantly being offered. Guides are very informative and take pride in the park. Much like when the original owner built it, you can and then walk... More

I travelled to the Coral Castle on the eve of the 2012 Winter Solstice.. I had an amazing time there, being immersed in the history and mystery of this site. Snapping pictures freely and chatting with the guests/staff along the way, I returned again at night for a tiki-lit tour. It was spectacular. The castle felt so alive at night... More

Very interesting story behind this castle and enjoyed the visit. Other reviews are correct in saying $15 a little much for admission, $8-$10 would of been more appropriate. It was hot and there was very little shade. The tour guide was nice enough but I had trouble understanding some of the things she was saying as she had an accent,... More

We stopped after an afternoon at Biscayne Bay and really enjoyed this attraction but it was a little pricey. A fascinating story of an interesting character and a world he created

Worthwhile visit. No shade so if hot bring an umbrella. Interesting story and lots of myths surrounding just how he built this structure by himself. Nice patio area with tables and chairs, food, and drink available for purchase. Gift shop with reasonable prices. Lots of wonderful lizards abound.

We used our "Go Miami" card for admission. We were a bit disappointed in this as it was not as spectacular as we were led to believe. It kind of all looks the same because it was all built from coral and the color is blander than the pictures. Part of our problem was that it was very hot and... More

Its a castle made from coral that an individual did himself for a lost love. Its a very intriguing story and we did enjoy the couple of hours we spent there. I would suggest stopping in but only if you are ok with the 15.00 entrance fee. 60 bucks for 4 adults and the child was free. A bit pricey... More

I have a motto at my house- "never, never, never quit". I was heading home from an amazing spring break trip with the kids and decided to take the advice of a trusted friend and search for this museum/attraction that was a big hit in the 1980s. If you really want to learn something about tenacity and teach it to... More

What a remarkable engineering fete. There are well-informed tour guides that present tours non-stop. We had read the book "Coral Castle" before we went and it doesn't do it justice until you see the actual structure. Paths are wide enough for a wheelchair and everything is accessible except for the small second floor living quarters.
