Chris knows food. Chris knows Asheville. Chris knows how to bring the experience together in a fun and entertaining way as he directs you on this most excellent walking tour. We had a fantastic experience learning about Asheville, hearing the story of some of the region's best restaurants from the owners themselves, and sampled some delicious fare at each stop.... More

This well planned taste of 7 Asheville eateries included everything from Indian to ice cream, with Italian, chocolate, gourmet and the best burgers ever thrown in. The other stop was a surprising oil and vinegar tasting that was very educational. The tour ended at an old fashioned soda fountain and took 3 hours, not 2. It included some walking, occasionally... Had a wonderful time with Chris. He took us to 7 restaurants. We got to sample some amazing foods from Indian to Upscale Southern to Italian plus many more. Learned alot about the area as we walked along downtown Asheville. He does different restaurants on different days - anxious to go back and do this again.

My husband and I were just on the Asheville Food Tour. We visited 7 sites. Chris is very friendly and talks about the history of Asheville on the walk. The restaurant owners discuss their restaurants and provided a sample of their cooking. It was a lot of fun and we met other interesting people on the tour. I would definitely... More

The food was excellent and you will have a chance to meet some real nice folks from different areas of the USA.... More

What a great way to get the flavor of Asheville in an afternoon. Our guide Chris obviously enjoys showing visitors around the food Paradise that is Asheville, and we enjoyed Latin, Italian, American, and the Chocolate Fetish (some of the best chocolate anywhere). Doesn't operate on the weekends, so plan accordingly.

My wife and I went on the food tour during our 1st anniversary stay in Asheville. We went to 7 local restaurants where we sampled their food. My wife made the comment that the samples were just the right size; not too much but enough to get a taste. We sampled food from a local Indian restaurant, "New Southern", and... More

Chris runs a great foodie tour of Asheville; one that we never would have been able to recreate on our own. It ranged from Indian to upscale southern cuisine and Italian. It included Olive Kickin' where we learned about and tasted the finest olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Each place talked with us about their food. We will be going... More
