We meet every Saturday & Sunday on Boston Common and run a 5k course that passes some of the most important landmarks from America's Revolution. During the run we stop at over sixteen sites to learn interesting facts (& take pictures!) and wind-up getting a great workout by the time we finish! Includes free return ferry ride & great shirt. « less

My wife and I found this run while looking for a 5k to do while we were in Boston for a family graduation. This run was certainly not a typical 5k but still a good workout and a great tour of Boston at the same time. In our group were runners of all different abilities, but Eddie O was awesome... More

I loved this relatively short run that was interspersed with stops along 16 points on the Freedom Trail, with commentary provided by our guide, Eddie. It's a great way to see historical locations in Boston, and I enjoyed this far better than seeing the spots from a bus. More

My sister and I did a Boston vacation in two days, and Eddie's running tour was perfect. He is enthusiastic, welcoming, informative, and energetic. He combined a perfect amount of running so that novice to seasoned runners all enjoyed the tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston. More

My husband signed us up for this tour and so I was not sure what to expect. But it was a great historical tour. Also a great way to see a lot of the freedom trail, we had 17 stops on the way and Eddie had great stories and historical facts to share at each one. Then to finish with... More

I was visiting Boston with a friend and we were looking for something fun and active to do. We knew the town is loaded with history and dozens of fascinting things to check out, but didn't really know where to start or what the highlights were. We were lucky to come across the Freedom Trail Run, and I simply couldn't... More

This was a perfect mix of history, story telling, sightseeing, and exercise. Eddie O's energy and passion were definitely contagious and set the tone for a most enjoyable jog through historic Boston. We found it to be just right amount of detail on the historic topics. We were lucky to have a beautiful day, but we would have had a... More

Eddie is incredibly personable and so much fun! After living in Boston for 2 years, it seemed silly that I hadn't been to nearly half the sites along the trail... My family was in town for graduation and it was an opportunity for everyone to share in the fun touristy part of Boston, but also get a great workout in.... More

Eddie was great! Good pace, moving fairly quickly from stop to stop but staying long enough to hear cool stuff about each. Eddie tells you a lot of info you won't get with mainline tours. Just lots of fun & a great shirt. He even buys you a drink of your choosing at the end. My wife & I were... More

We loved our Freedom Trail 5K. Our family met in Boston and loved the chance to exercise and see history at the same time. Eddie was great historian and sense of humor which is a fantastic combination. Would love to do again sometime. We took three kids and the double stroller made it a little awkward and hard to keep...
