Now "foodies" can learn the local history of a city's different neighborhoods while enjoying it's new food spots, all while you are exploring and viewing the architectural designs unique to that neighborhood! Great for both tourists or locals. I was born in San Diego and lived in this area most of my life and still learned things about my town... More

First I want to thank our tour guide "Dana" for all her knowlege and for making the 3 hour tour most enjoyable. We learned alot about Julian and had a great experience. The portions were adaquate for tasting. (It's tasting not a meal). She was friendly and made us feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this tour and we plan... More

We have gone to La Jolla ( honeymoon), Julian, San Diego (Gaslamp & Little Italy) and Coronado bite San Diego tours. I have learned so much from each tour about food, architecture and local history. I love them and would recommend them for any occasion. The tour leaders are friendly and very knowledgeable. Tell everyone!

This was an amazing tour led by Eddie that took us through the Gaslamp District's best restaurants. It was a four hour tour which included a visit to a local brewery. Go hungry and you will have a wonderful time. I highly recommend this tour if you are a foodie!

I went on the Bite San Diego Encinitas tour this last weekend and it was SOO much fun! I honestly didn't expect it to be an overly social experience, I thought it would be a bit stiff and stuffy, but I was definitely wrong. Everyone in our group was friendly, outgoing and having a great time for the full 3... More

Had a great time on the Encinitas tour. I am looking forward to going on the Hillcrest and Little Italy tours in the future! Arrive hungry, leave full, make new friends. Would make a nice casual date or work entertainment activity.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our experiences with Bite San Diego- this past Saturday we toured Encinitas, prior to that, North Park and next we are looking forward to the Old Town Food Tour. The tour guides are excellent, interjecting local history and lore along with the fun of dining and meeting new people. And the walking is not bad -... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour and our guide, Dana, was very informative, gregarious and fun. She threw in a lot of history of Julian and made the tour worthwhile. We started with Baileys Bar-B-Que where we had "the best pulled pork sandwich" that we've ever had (according to my wife who doesn't even like pulled pork), tremendously good garlic... More

Who knew there was so much history in North Park. The tour was fantastic. Eddie, the guide was really, really knowledgeable and lives in the area. Started at a great Wine Bar-Splash and we will be back. The pizza was tasty. As a matter of fact, all the places we went were one's we will go back to. Even the... More

Pros: Good food. (LOVED the pizza!) Excellent guide (thanks Eddie!) who was engaging and informational I learned quite a bit about the history of San Diego which is much more fascinating than I thought. Wasn’t rushed Good variety Cons: Wish there was more than just a single beer sample at Karl Strauss. A sample of their food would have been... More
