One of the better VCs in the area. Lots of info and helpful volunteer staff. Very clean facilities. They steered us to Manteo which we almost passed up.

We've stopped at the visitor's center on Roanoke Island several times during trips to the Outer Banks. The people manning the facility are incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the bathrooms, drinks, snacks, etc. are always running. A great place to recharge before or after a trip and get insight into OBX attractions.

They have more info than I got online and since we are a family of 5 many of the info books have coupons even if it's $1. off for us it adds up. The staff is very helpfull too.
