The Met is a must do! Just walking around and taking in so many statues, artefacts and paintings that have been around for eons is AMAZING! We loved it and think that a day isn't even enough!

I went to this museum with my husband and son - two people who are not museum goers. They liked it, but found it overwhelming. I really enjoyed it and could have spent much more time. Our concierge told us about the rooftop deck. So glad she did. It has an amazing view of Manhattan.

This is one of the world's great museums. If you are in NYC, plan for at least a half day in the Met. The lower level exhibitions are very crowded, at least on weekends, but if you take the effort to move upstairs, the galleries are not so crowded. We love the European galleries and return every time we're in... More

Wow. I think I could tour the place ten times and still not see all it has to offer. Off the hook good.

I must go back! What a stunning museum - you just can't miss it when you travel to New York. There is something for everyone here.

My advice is to prioritize your wishes and go down in order. That way if you only have time for one day, it will be the most fulfilling.
