The Met is a must do! Just walking around and taking in so many statues, artefacts and paintings that have been around for eons is AMAZING! We loved it and think that a day isn't even enough!

I went to this museum with my husband and son - two people who are not museum goers. They liked it, but found it overwhelming. I really enjoyed it and could have spent much more time. Our concierge told us about the rooftop deck. So glad she did. It has an amazing view of Manhattan.

It would all depend on what you have seen previously. I went on a Friday night when entry is free. The queue was right around the block and in the rain, but it did move quite quickly to entry. I have been to The Louvre in Paris, and other galleries in Europe, so if you have done that, I would... More

This is one of the world's great museums. If you are in NYC, plan for at least a half day in the Met. The lower level exhibitions are very crowded, at least on weekends, but if you take the effort to move upstairs, the galleries are not so crowded. We love the European galleries and return every time we're in... More

Wow. I think I could tour the place ten times and still not see all it has to offer. Off the hook good.

My advice is to prioritize your wishes and go down in order. That way if you only have time for one day, it will be the most fulfilling.
